Dr. Stephanie Cortner is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and functional medicine practitioner. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Dongguk University in Los Angeles, followed by a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine with an emphasis in Integrative Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science.
Stephanie holds a Functional Medicine Certificate from a year-long mentorship program with Dr. Daniel Kalish at the Kalish Institute for Functional Medicine, and has completed further training with Dr. Mark Hyman through his BrainShaping Academy, as well as a hormone-focused mentorship with Dr. Carrie Jones. She has also completed the Institute for Functional Medicine's (IFM) Hormone and Gastrointestinal Advanced Practice Modules. Licensed since 2013, her clinical focus has centered on hormone balancing, fertility, autoimmune conditions, gastrointestinal health, and sports medicine — including dry needling for local teams such as the USC football and track teams, the LA Kings, and multiple NFL organizations.
Her goal is to bridge Eastern and Western medicine, offering patients an integrative, root-cause approach to wellness that empowers them to lead healthier, happier, and more balanced lives.
